Two of our X Standard boys brought laurels to our school in 1997-98 by obtaining the first and second rank at the District level in the Public Examination held in March '98. The boys were honoured by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Thiru.M.Karunanithi on 20-07-98.

Ever Since the inception both X and XII stds have been consistently maintaining a good academic performance with centum results quite often.
Adequate preparation + Able action + Will power + Perseverance + positive Attitude + Hard Work = Achievement and Rank.
As per the above concept, our P.G Teachers brought out a meritorious result in XII std during the year 2002-03. The school got district I place among Madurai Revenue District schools by scoring 1168/1200 by R.Senthil Murugan.
Similarly our B.T Teachers also brought out another feat in X std public Examination by getting District III Rank among Madurai Educational District Schools during 2006-07. This feat has done by R.Muthu Vel by obtaining 479/500.

Bearing the technological advancements in mind, we provided computer education through a fully equipped computer lab with internet facility.

Apart from studies our students prove their guts in sports and games. Apart from the regular play field, a well furnished indoor stadium at the basement helps the students to get a good practice under the guidance of the staff in the Physical Education Departments. Yoga and Karate classes are conducted in the evening.

ven in Extra curricular activities, our students deserve their best. They got many prizes in Arts, Tamil and English creative writing, Elocution, Quiz etc. Two of our students C.M.Amrish, P.Jeyadarshan of XI-A bagged state level II prize in science project.
The same students got II prize in Trade Fair.M.Vivek Shankar of VIII bugged prize in District level drawing competition conducted by Mumbai Camlin concern. NSS camp is held once in a year at the Blind school, Sundararajanpatty. We have Scout and JRC.

Since an equal importance is given to both education and discipline the VHN Schools are much sought after by the parents from all walks of life in and around Madurai City.
